These soap dishes are made from cedar and coated with teak oil. Cedar wood contains antimicrobial properties and dries quickly because it naturally resists water. The teak oil gives the dishes another layer of protection and a rich color suited to compliment any sink.
Each dish also has drainage holes or channels to allow your soap to dry between uses. This is vital in making your soap last longer. We do recommend reapplying oil at least once a year. Dishes are approximately 5.5" x 3.25"
These soap dishes are custom made by our cousins at Shafer Built in Michigan. They do all sorts of custom wood pieces from key chains to tables. (See last photo for their information.)
